A misrepresentation is a false or misleading statement that is inaccurate or does not fairly reflect the truth. To avoid this, please make sure you answer our questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge. This includes any answers you give on someone else's behalf.
This Duty applies until we agree to insure you. If you don't comply, we may reduce or not pay a claim, cancel your policy or both. If the misrepresentation was deliberate or reckless, this is an act of fraud, and we may treat your policy as if it never existed.

Comprehensive Insurance covers damage to your vehicle, loss of your vehicle or property, theft and damage to other people's property (for example, their vehicle) as the result of an accident. It also comes with other benefits such as 30 days car hire if your vehicle is stolen, towing after an accident, emergency repairs and much more.
This insurance provides cover for loss against someone else's property.

We do not provide cover (where the type of cover you have under the policy provides it) for any loss of or damage to your property caused by cyclone, flood, grassfires and bushfires, during the first ${custDISASTER_WAITING_PERIOD_TEXT} after you first take out or increase the cover under the policy.

Standard accessories are those that the vehicle manufacturer fits as standard when the vehicle is made. Standard accessories are included in the vehicle's sum insured.
Other accessories are any accessories that were not fitted as standard to your vehicle by the manufacturer when it was made or fitted as optional manufacturer accessories.
Common examples of other accessories include:
aftermarket sound system
tow bar
aftermarket roof racks
car seat covers
You will be able to list these accessories later if you decide to buy this insurance.
The total value of your accessories will be covered, except for any modifications (engine, body/paint, suspension).
Your policy includes cover for replacement of any Child Seat or Baby Capsule up to a maximum of '$500' per claim.
Select 'Yes' if your vehicle has unrepaired damage such as major panel or accident damage, rust, hail or is in an unroadworthy condition.
Select 'No' if the unrepaired damage is minor scratches or general wear and tear such as bumper abrasions and minimal parking dents (e.g. a door has been opened onto the vehicle's panel).
Modifications are changes to the vehicle from the original vehicle manufacturer's specifications. Modifications to the vehicle's engine, body, paint or suspension must be disclosed
